Orania is intens, vroeër nog meer as vandag. Soveel hoop, soveel teleurstellings, maar nog meer volharding en drome wat dit dan weer oorkom, aanhou en uithou. Die plek en die idee is groter as die mense met hulle menslike gebreke, maar die plek wys ’n mens ook op jou eie gebreke. En tog is die mense die kosbaarste van Orania en werklik kwaliteitmense met kuiers soos net Orania-Afrikaners dit kan doen. Ek het soveel lewenslange vriende in en deur Orania ontmoet.

Soveel dinge het gebeur in die 14 jaar wat ek daar was. Dinge is nog in die vloei.
